The church tower will be open (for a small charge and only grown ups and older children). A rare opportunity to climb the narrow, steep and twisting stair case to the top of the tower and be rewarded with wonderful views. Not for the faint hearted!
The bells will be ringing from 11:45 to 12:30 and again at 16:45 to close the festival.
The Tower Captain is Nick Frost.
Performing at 1:15 pm and again at 3:00 pm is Damian Clarke who will be talking about the history and development of his Hammer Dulcimer and Hurdy Gurdy, two unusual early instruments. He will be performing a few pieces on them and then there will be an opportunity to have a go on the Hammer Dulcimer and get up close and experience the Hurdy Gurdy.
